In love with Lexi

My daughter is so in love with Lexi (my best friend Brooke's 2 month old). I have never seen her be so "into" a little baby as she is with her. When Lexi (or as Ashlee calls her "baby exi") is not here Ashlee asks about her all the time, when she IS here she will not leave her alone! Its sooo cute! Today Brooke and Lexi were over and as I was giving Lexi her bottle, she HAD to help feed Lexi. Dale got this adorable picture of her "helping" me feed her little buddy Lexi. I just hope these 2 girls still love each other this much in all the years to come.

And then we had a blizzard...

If you read my previous post about the wonderful weather we've been having you are probably wondering "wait a minute!" Well, only in Colorado is it 60 one day and 9 inches of snow the next! Believe it or not, I'm not a cold weather person. I just don't enjoy being out in the snow at all (one of the main reasons I don't ski). However, a 2 year old can really wear you down! So after a morning of listening to Ashlee beg, I finally caved in and got us all bundled up to go out in the snow (I told myself someone had to shovel since Dale was out of town)! We had a blast and it was actually pretty warm out! It was so cute to watch her to try navigate around in her new snow boots!

Car Wash!

Wow, what amazing weather we have been having! Its like spring is already here! Today, Dada took Ashlee outside with him to help wash his car. It was pretty cute, she had her own wash rag and "washed" the truck with him. She was also really good at fetching the hose whenever dada needed it! :)
