Welcome baby Lexi!!

My best friend Brooke just had her baby girl, Lexi, on Tuesday January 27th. She is absolutely perfect in every way! She weighed 7lbs 5oz, was 18.5" long and has strawberry blonde hair and bright blue eyes! Suprisingly, Ashlee was really into checking out Lexi and was very gentle with her, she even gave her kisses! We just adore Lexi and can't wait for all the future play dates and tea parties to come! We love you Lexi!

For Ashlee's 2nd birthday we treated her and our friends to some crazy playtime at MB! I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the adults! It seems there was always a race going on in the obsticle course (I beat you Tammie FAIR AND SQUARE!!) someone climbing on the rock wall, and TONS of people racing down the huge slide! It was such a great time and Ashlee wants to thank everyone for coming to celebrate her 2nd birthday with her! Love you all!

It is hilarious! She can not get enough of them. She doesn't care for hers much, but she thinks mommy's are way cool! Personally I think they look pretty good on her and hey, she's got good taste! :)

Currently lovin'...

* all this snow! especially since I don't have to drive in it!
* listening to Ashlee talk and use new words everyday! she is putting together 2 words all the time now.
* that my back finally stopped hurting.
* that The Bachelor and Biggest Loser started up again...yeah!
* my new tile backspash in the kitchen. Dale did an awesome job!
* that my family is coming in town this weekend for Ashlee's birthday party! Its going to be a blast!
* the pictures of Ashlee that Sarah took...I look at them everyday!
* a new song by Lady GaGa that I found on youtube called Pokerface. Its a fun dance song!

Ashlee turns 2!

How time flies...I can't believe Ashlee just celebrated her 2nd birthday! How is that possible, wasn't she just picking her head up last week and learning to walk yesterday? Now she's taking her clothes off and on by herself (not always when she should be), using the potty (sporatically, but hey, that's a start), singing to songs in the car, saying 2 word sentences like crazy and wants to do everything her "self"! Everyone told me it would go by fast and they were soooo right. I keep reminding myself to just live in the moment and cherish her each and everyday.
