Happy 1st Birthday Ashlee!

Wow, our little girl is already 1..how time flies! We had a great time celebrating with family and friends! Ashlee LOVED her cake (as you can see by the picture). She even shared it with her daddy and put it all in his hair!

Christmas 2007

Ashlee's first Christmas! We celebrated here in Denver with Dale's family and then off to Kansas to see my family. Ashlee had a blast with the wrapping paper, ribbon, bows and boxes. Who needs toys when you have a box?

Although I didn't take Ashlee trick-or-treating, we still got her all dressed up in her butterfly costume..she was the cutest butterful EVER! I took her into work to "show her off" to all my co-workers. She was a hit! We also went to the pumpkin patch/corn maze at Chatfield for some family fun. it was such a beautiful day!

Estes Park

My parents rented a place up in Estes Park for the weekend and we had a great time playing in the mountains. Ashlee just loves seeing her mammy and papa, we wish they were closer! We went swimming, walked around town, relaxed (check out my mom in the hammock) and went up to Rocky Mountain National Park to enjoy beautiful Colorado!

4th of July

For her 1st Fourth of July, Ashlee slept through the fireworks no problem! She definately did not lack any attention with Taylor, Haley and Kira around! She's so lucky to have great girlfriends already!

Ashlee is about 7 months and ALMOST has crawling down. Just watch and see!

Bathing beauty

At about 4 or 5 months we started giving Ashlee baths in the sink...she LOVED it! It was way easier than the bathtub because there was much less room for her to fall/roll around in. She kept trying to "eat" the water and would practically drown herself, but she'd just laugh and go back for more. She loves her baths and would stay in the sink all day if I let her!

4 months and counting

4 months old already! How time flies...Ashlee is growing up so fast, we just can't beleive it. She amazes us everyday with how much she is learning and changing. She's holding her head up so well and is starting to sit up on her own. She loves books too, whether its being read to or just chewing on them!

Glendo Lake, WY

We went with a bunch of friends up to Glendo Lake, WY when Ashlee was about 5 months old. It was her first time camping and we did it in style, in the motor home! It was nice to have a place where Ashlee could be out of the sun (and we could cook and wash our hands)!! Ashlee was amazed by the water and got to go on the boat for the 1st time! It was a nice relaxing trip and the weather was beautiful.

Ashlee's 1st Easter

My parents came into town for Ashlee's first Easter. She loves her mammy and papa! She also got to see her Grandpa and Grandma Ervin! She sure looked cute with that pink bow on her head!

ROAD TRIP!

We went on a 2 week roadtrip in the motor home when Ashlee was only 5 weeks old. Needless to say she slept most of the time (see that pink mound under my jacket?) but I like to think she enjoyed the adventure! We went to Mt. Rushmore, SD, Topeka, KS (to visit my family), St. Louis, IL (to visit Ashlee's great grandparents), Memphis, TN to famous Beale street, and then off to Lychburg, TN to visit the Jack Daniels dystillary!! For those of you who don't know Dale all that well, he is an avid Jack Daniels drinker. If there aint Jack at the bar...then there aint JACK! :) We had a great time but were happy to get home safely.
